To commemorate the 75 Years of the Adoption of the Constitution of India, Amma Mahila Seva Samaj (AMMA) organized a day-long programme on 10th October 2025 at Nagarjuna High School, Podalakur, Nellore District, Andhra Pradesh. The event was held under the Ministry of Culture’s national initiative “Hamara Samvidhan Hamara Swabhiman” to celebrate India’s constitutional heritage. A series of activities including drawing, essay writing, elocution, speech, and quiz competitions were conducted alongside a photo and poster exhibition, featuring over 80 creative displays centered on the Indian Constitution.

The programme aimed to promote constitutional awareness, democratic values, and civic responsibility among students. Participants from Classes 3 to 10 showcased exceptional creativity, reflecting on themes of freedom, equality, justice, and national unity. The event also featured inspiring addresses by freedom fighters, senior citizens, and political leaders, who emphasized the importance of upholding constitutional principles in contemporary society. Prizes and certificates were distributed to the winners and participants to encourage continued engagement with democratic ideals. The event witnessed participation from over 450 student participants and attendees.

Commemoration of 75 Years of Adoption of the Constitution

To mark the completion of 75 years of the adoption of the Constitution of India, the Ministry of Culture launched a year-long commemoration on 26th November 2024, celebrated as Constitution Day (Samvidhan Diwas), under the campaign tagline “Hamara Samvidhan, Hamara Swabhiman.” The campaign aims to create a strong visual and emotional connection with the Constitution in public consciousness, enhance awareness about its contents and significance, highlight the immense effort and vision that went into its framing, and instill a deep sense of pride and respect for the Constitution among the people of India.
