A state-level programme was organised on 26 November at Manas Bhavan, Bhopal, by Shri Sant Ravidas Seva Sansthan in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, to commemorate 75 Years of Adoption of the Indian Constitution. The full-day event comprised structured workshops, training sessions and a seminar aimed at strengthening constitutional awareness and public understanding of democratic values.
Public representatives, community leaders and members of various social organisations participated in the programme. Key speakers included Senior Pracharak Shri Surendra Mishra and Former MLA Shri Parvat Lal Ahirwar, along with district and state office-bearers of different Sant Ravidas organisations. The discussions focused on constitutional values, citizens’ duties, equality, women’s safety and related social issues.
Speakers underscored the importance of presenting constitutional principles in simple and accessible forms to ensure wider public engagement. They highlighted community responsibility, social welfare and collective participation as essential to advancing constitutional values. Participants from multiple districts contributed to thematic deliberations. The programme concluded with a large gathering of nearly 2,000 participants, followed by a community meal.
