The nation observed Samvidhan Diwas on 26 November 2025 with a solemn ceremony in the Central Hall of Samvidhan Sadan. The Hon'ble President of India presided over the event attended by the Vice-President, Prime Minister, Speaker, Lok Sabha, Union Ministers, Members of Parliament and dignitaries. The programme opened with the National Anthem, followed by a welcome address by the Speaker, Lok Sabha, and an address by the Vice-President. In her address, the Hon'ble President underscored the Constitution’s role in guiding India’s democratic journey and called on citizens to uphold justice, liberty, equality and fraternity.
Digital releases on this occasion included the translation of the Constitution of India in nine languages - Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Punjabi, Bodo, Kashmiri, Telugu, Odia and Assamese - prepared by the Legislative Department, and the commemorative booklet भारत की संविधान से कला और कैलिग्राफी, published by the Lalit Kala Akademi under the Ministry of Culture.
The launch of Bharat Ke Samvidhan Mein Kala Aur Calligraphy highlighted the artistic contributions of Shri Nandalal Bose and his team, who provided the calligraphy, illustrations and hand-painting of the original Constitution. The English edition of the book was released last year, beginning the year-long commemoration of 75 years of adoption of the Constitution; this event marked the close of that commemoration. The ceremony concluded with the reading of the Preamble led by the President, followed by the National Anthem.
