Hon'ble Union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh and Hon'ble Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat visited a Photo Exhibition on Hyderabad Liberation Day at Parade Ground, Hyderabad, on 17 September. They were accompanied by Hon'ble Union Minister for Coal & Mines Shri G. Kishan Reddy, Hon'ble Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Bandi Sanjay, and local elected representatives.



Organised by the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, the exhibition displayed nearly 50 panels highlighting events and personalities associated with Operation Polo and Hyderabad’s liberation. It was inaugurated on 14 September 2025 by Hon'ble Governor of Telangana Shri Jishnu Dev Varma and Hon'ble Union Minister Shri G. Kishan Reddy.



During the visit on 17 September, Smt. Shruti Patil, Additional Director General, CBC & PIB, and Shri G. Koteswar Rao, Assistant Director, CBC, guided the Hon'ble Ministers through the exhibition. The display continued to attract visitors, especially students, since its inauguration.



The photo exhibition was part of the 2025 Hyderabad Liberation Day celebrations at Parade Ground, which also included cultural presentations, a play by the National School of Drama, Bengaluru Centre, and tableaux, engaging citizens and students alike.
