Ministry of Culture and Naveen Ankur Mahila Mandal Organise 300th Birth Anniversary Commemoration of Punyashlok Ahilyabai Holkar in Raipur

The 300th Birth Anniversary of Punyashlok Ahilyabai Holkar was celebrated with deep reverence and vibrant participation by Local Communities, Women’s group and Cultural organisations from 27th to 29th October 2025 at Kaushalya Dham, Village Chandkhuri, District Raipur (Chhattisgarh). The three-day event was organised by Naveen Ankur Mahila Mandal, Raipur (C.G.), in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, as part of the ongoing national commemoration of Ahilyabai Holkar’s 300th birth anniversary launched earlier this year.

The celebration in Raipur reflected this spirit through a series of engaging cultural and devotional presentations, literary discussions, and exhibitions that depicted Ahilyabai Holkar’s life, reforms, and contributions to India’s spiritual and social fabric. Women’s groups, cultural organisations, and local communities came together to pay homage to the revered queen who remains an enduring symbol of righteous governance and humane leadership.

In the coming months, similar events have been planned across the country to continue spreading her message of cultural pride and women-led empowerment through plays, seminars, intellectual dialogues, film screenings, and cultural performances among others to ensure that Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar's legacy continues to enlighten generations to come.
