To commemorate the 100th Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Prime Minister of India, the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, in collaboration with the non-governmental organisation Nrutyadham, organised a special two-day cultural programme at Rabindra Mandap, Bhubaneswar, on 16th and 17th October 2025. The event paid tribute to Shri Vajpayee’s remarkable life and legacy through a vibrant series of cultural performances, exhibitions, and commemorative sessions celebrating his contributions as a statesman, poet, and visionary leader.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Hon’ble Shri Prithviraj Harichandan, Minister of Law, Works & Excise, Government of Odisha, and Hon’ble Shri Krushna Chandra Patra, Minister of Food Supplies, Consumer Welfare, Science & Technology, Government of Odisha. The celebration served as a heartfelt homage to Shri Vajpayee’s enduring ideals of peace, unity, and progress, reaffirming his vision for a strong, inclusive, and culturally enriched India.
