On the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary of Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee, a three-day program was organised by Shree Navdurga Gramoutthan Sewa Sansthan, Amethi, from 6 to 8 February 2026 at Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Kumarganj, Ayodhya. The event, organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, was inaugurated by Shri Chandrabhan Paswan, Hon’ble MLA, Milkipur.
The event highlighted the nationalist vision of Dr Mookerjee, his crucial role in strengthening India’s unity, and his significant contributions to education. The speakers emphasised that Dr Mookerjee’s life serves as a guiding example of dedication to democratic values and national integration. Other distinguished guests further elaborated on his far-reaching impact as an educationist and his role in shaping institutional and intellectual discourse in India.
Cultural presentations during the event included thematic performances that depicted Dr Mookerjee’s life and ideals through dance, drama, and songs. The program aimed to engage youth through educational and awareness initiatives while serving as a platform for reflection on Dr Mookerjee’s legacy. It encouraged participants to learn from his teachings and integrate them into their daily lives to contribute to nation-building.
