Birth centenary commemoration of Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee was organised by Madan Foundation, Amethi, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The two-day seminar and cultural programme witnessed the participation of scholars, poets, academicians, social workers, local representatives, and members of the general public. The event was held on 5 and 6 December at Dev Marriage Lawn, Amethi. 

The programme commenced with floral tributes to Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, followed by Saraswati Vandana by school students. All guests were honoured with ceremonial shawls and mementoes. The speakers highlighted Shri Vajpayee's role as a statesman, poet, and nation-builder. 

The first day also featured a Virat Kavi Sammelan, in which 13 poets from different regions participated and recited compositions inspired by Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s poetry. Eminent poets, including Nirjhar Pratapgarhi (Desh Ki Mitti), Dr Archana Ojaswi (Prem Ki Shakti), Shri Parwana Pratapgarhi (Jeevan Ki Yatra), Shri Chand Prakash Pandey Manjul (Prem Aur Jeevan), and Shri Rameshwar Singh Nirash (Samaj Aur Hum), among others, recited their original compositions.

A cultural programme based on the life and legacy of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee was one of the major highlights of the second day. Key episodes from his life were portrayed through dance and music; his poems and speeches were presented in musical form, highlighting his literary contributions and dedication to the nation. The performances were presented by the Pankaj Jhanki Group (Nritya Kala), Hardoi.

Essay, painting, and speech competitions were organised for school and college students; winners and participating students were felicitated with certificates of appreciation, mementoes, and cash prizes. The commemoration programme closed with attendees paying homage to Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee and patriotic slogans of “Vande Mataram”.
