The Festival for Samhati 2025, organised by Ashray, Kailashahar, Tripura, commenced on 5 November 2025 as part of the nationwide commemoration of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. The ten-day celebration (5–15 November 2025) was an initiative dedicated to fostering national integration, inclusivity, and cultural unity, in alignment with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.
As part of the festival, a vibrant series of cultural performances, community engagements, and heritage-based activities were organised to bring together people from diverse backgrounds in a spirit of togetherness and shared cultural identity.
A key highlight of the celebrations was the Felicitation Ceremony of Senior Citizens, held on 6 November 2025 at Unakoti Kalakhetra, Kailashahar. The ceremony honoured the lifelong contributions, wisdom, and service of senior citizens who have played a pivotal role in strengthening India’s social and cultural fabric.
The Festival for Samhati 2025 was organised as part of the year-long commemoration of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, launched by the Ministry of Culture on 15 November 2024.
