In collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, the Cosmic Foundation organised a three-day programme from 21 to 23 November to commemorate the Birth Centenary of Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Tej Pratap Singh Inter College, Bheski, Saidabad, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The initiative highlighted his life, values and contributions through a series of cultural and educational activities.
Students participated in poetry recitation, wall painting, debate competitions, tree plantation drives and cleanliness initiatives designed to generate awareness about the legacy of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Biographical presentations and cultural performances by students and artists from Ayodhya formed part of the programme.
Former Vice Chancellor of Banaras Hindu University, Dr. Girish Chandra Tripathi, presided as the Chief Guest. Mrs. Pratibha Kushwaha, Member, Uttar Pradesh State Women’s Commission, and Mrs. Nirmala Paswan, District President, BJP, attended as special guests. Certificates and awards were presented to student participants. The commemoration concluded with an emphasis on continuing cultural and educational efforts that uphold the values and vision associated with Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
