National Unity Procession Held to Celebrate 150 Years of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel under the Aegis of Ministry of Culture and Bharat Bharati

On 31st October 2025, the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with Bharat Bharati, Jaipur, organised a grand National Unity Procession to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The event was graced by former Rajasthan State BJP President Shri Ashok Parnami as the Chief Guest, along with Deputy Mayor of Jaipur Greater Municipal Corporation Shri Puneet Karnawat and President of Sardar Sardh Shatabdi Rajasthan (Kota) Shri G.D. Patel as Special Guests.

The procession showcased tableaux representing 26 states of India, depicting the nation’s rich cultural heritage. Highlights included representations of the Somnath Temple in Gujarat, Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Bodh Gaya in Bihar, Kedarnath in Uttarakhand, Jagannath Rath Yatra of Odisha, Meenakshi Temple of Tamil Nadu, and the Statue of Unity, a tribute to Sardar Patel. Over 2,500 participants from diverse states joined in traditional attire, symbolising India’s unity in diversity.

Supported by various cultural organisations, the event radiated patriotism and harmony, conveying the timeless message of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.”
