PM Attends RSS Centenary Celebrations and Unveils Commemorative Coin and Stamp

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi attended the centenary celebrations of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as Chief Guest on 1st October 2025 at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi. Marking 100 years since the Sangh’s founding in 1925, the Prime Minister released a specially designed ₹100 commemorative coin and postage stamp, celebrating the RSS’s rich legacy and its contributions to national unity, cultural preservation, and social service.

Founded by Dr. K.B. Hedgewar, the RSS has grown as a people-led movement for national reconstruction, rooted in the values of discipline, service, and patriotism. Over the decades, it has played a pivotal role in education, health, tribal upliftment, disaster relief, and community empowerment. The centenary celebrations honoured this legacy and reaffirmed the Sangh’s vision of “Sarvangeena Unnati”, the holistic development of India through selfless service and cultural pride.
