The fourth edition of Har Ghar Tiranga witnessed unprecedented public participation with 7.50 crore selfies uploaded with the National Flag and 1.8 crore Swachh Sujal Gaon pledges reinforcing the spirit of civic responsibility and environmental stewardship. The campaign, launched in 2022 under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, has now evolved into one of the world’s largest participatory movements, uniting citizens across geographies and generations.
This year’s highlights included the introduction of the Tiranga Volunteer initiative, enabling over 9 lakh volunteers to spread the spirit of the Tricolour to every corner of the country. States, Union Territories, ministries, corporates, industry bodies, and citizens came together through Tiranga yatras, concerts, exhibitions, art, and letter-writing campaigns. A special Tiranga concert, CAPF bike rally, and children’s gestures of gratitude to armed forces further amplified the celebrations.
The Ministry of Culture also curated a special Tiranga exhibition, chronicling the evolution of the Flag and honouring the sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters.
