The Ministry of Culture is celebrating Sewa Parv 2025 from 17th September to 2nd October as a nationwide festival of service, creativity, and cultural pride, inspired by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047. Under the theme “Viksit Bharat ke Rang, Kala ke Sang”, painting and art workshops are being organised across 75 prominent locations by the Ministry’s organisations and institutions, engaging thousands of professional artists, students, and citizens. The initiative aims to channel Janbhagidari (people’s participation) into creative expressions of India’s developmental vision.
On the inaugural day, art workshops and cultural camps witnessed massive participation nationwide, including 1,500 participants in Lucknow, 2,000 in Vadodara, 1,300 in Jammu, and hundreds more in Thanjavur, Hyderabad, Damoh, Shantiniketan, and Anand. The celebrations also extend digitally, with institutions and citizens uploading artworks and creative expressions on the Sewa Parv Portal. The festival continues till 2nd October, concluding on Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary.
