The sacred city of Ujjain, home to the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, will host “रूहmantic” – PHDCCI’s 2nd Global Spiritual Tourism Conclave on 27 August 2025. Organised by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, the conclave will be inaugurated by Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, along with Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister of Tourism & Culture. Spiritual leader Gauranga Das Prabhu will deliver the keynote address. In contrast, senior officials, including Mr. Suman Billa, Additional Secretary & DG, Ministry of Tourism, and Mr. Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary – Tourism, Madhya Pradesh, will also address the event.

The highlight of the conclave will be the release of the PHDCCI–KPMG Report “Faith & Flow: Navigating Crowds in India’s Sacred Spaces.” Discussions will explore temple economies, the balance between heritage and modernisation, wellness, spirituality in the digital age, and the Jyotirlinga circuit. Delegates will also visit Shri Mahakaleshwar and Kal Bhairav temples, experiencing Ujjain’s living spiritual traditions.
