The Ministry of Culture, Government of India, is organising a grand national event to commemorate 150 years of India’s National Song, Vande Mataram - a timeless invocation that awakened the nation’s spirit of unity and patriotism. The ceremony, graced by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, marks the launch of a year-long commemoration (7 Nov 2025–7 Nov 2026). Dignitaries include Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena, and Smt. Rekha Gupta. Highlights include a musical presentation “Vande Mataram: Naad Ekam, Roopam Anekam” led by Dr. Mysore Manjunath, an exhibition, documentary, and mass singing at 10:00 AM nationwide. The PM will release a commemorative stamp and coin. A digital campaign, vandemataram150.in, invites citizens to upload renditions during 7–14 Nov 2025, spreading national pride and unity through music.
